Copyright & Publishing Clause
By purchasing this instrumental under an Exclusive License, the Licensee obtains the right to record, release, distribute, perform, and monetize the resulting musical work without restriction. However, X RECORDZ shall retain 25% ownership of the copyright in the composition, including a proportional share of any publishing, performance, and mechanical royalties.
The Licensee agrees to:
1. Register the final released song with their respective Performing Rights Organization (PRO).
2. List X RECORDZ as a 25% copyright holder under writer/publisher metadata.
3. Provide necessary metadata or splits to digital distribution and publishing administration platforms to reflect X RECORDZ’s ownership share.
Failure to provide proper credit or registration may result in a breach of contract.
